Odelsa “Ody” Dickman

Biography

Mrs. Dickman is a Cuban American lawyer, born in Puerto Rico and raised in South Florida. She has a diverse cultural background and a local upbringing that gives her a distinctive outlook on her legal practice. As an experienced civil litigator, Ody handles both plaintiff and defense cases with excellence. Her outstanding negotiation skills and steadfast commitment to justice are evident in her successful case settlements.

Mrs. Dickman’s professional credentials reflect her devotion to her field. She is certified as a circuit court mediator and a qualified arbitrator. She obtained her Associate of Arts degree from Miami-Dade College, her Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University, and her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law Center. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2000, after building a strong foundation of academic achievement and practical experience.

While pursuing her law degree at night, Ody spent her days working for the Florida Department of Children and Families in Miami. She advocated for underprivileged individuals, especially children and the developmentally disabled, showing her deep empathy and dedication to social justice.

In 2005, Ody moved to Naples, where she brought her expertise and compassionate advocacy to the community. She joined the board of the Hunger & Homeless Coalition of Collier County, where she continued her work to help impoverished individuals. Today, Ody serves as the Firm’s administrator, leading client development efforts with the same enthusiasm and professionalism she applies to her legal practice.
